Bowe Machine is a 58-year-old, family-owned machining and milling business in Bettendorf, Iowa that manufactures industrial shear blades, composting equipment, large metal-shredding blades, and other equipment sold worldwide. They chose Bush Construction to upgrade outdated space into state-of-the-art production bays.
The project included a 32,000 SF pre-engineered metal building addition which now houses four overhead cranes, a large gantry mill, and other milling machines.
The demolition of the old structures began in July 2014, followed by minor excavation. Installation of helical piles was required to help support the building columns.
Bowe Machine remained in production during construction, which took place between (and connecting) their two occupied buildings.
