Genesis needed an update to their Linear Accelerator, which they replaced with a new one and hired Bush Construction to demolish and renovate the room by replacing framing, drywall, paint, flooring, and cabinets. Despite the manufacturer’s estimated 3-month duration for this project, Bush Construction and subcontractors completed the project in only 6 weeks, working closely together to achieve a schedule less than half the typical time, while also coordinating with hospital staff and minimizing noise in the occupied healthcare facility.

The Trinity Medical Center at the Moline Campus included the renovation of an existing lobby area into a registration center. Work included new flooring, millwork, acoustical beams, HVAC, and lighting. The project took place in the building’s main entrance, which required a large temporary wall to enclose the construction space.

The Trinity Medical Center OB/GYN Clinic is a 7,500 SF project that included the complete demolition and build-out of an obstetrics and gynecology clinic. The project’s new build-out included exam rooms, a lab area, nurse triage rooms, and nurse stations. The project was constructed in two phases, while a portion of the clinic was in full operation.

The renovation of Genesis East Health System’s entire fifth floor for their new Birth Center included complete flooring replacement, new millwork, paint and wall coverings in the corridors, public areas, and in 31 patient rooms, as well as, plumbing and electrical upgrades throughout. TV’s were also installed in all patient and waiting rooms. Room renovation included several different room styles. Rooms were completed in multiple phases (two rooms per phase), in order to keep the majority of the rooms in operation during construction. Daily coordination with the owner and nursing staff was required in planning all activities as this was a functioning hospital environment.
